The Corporation of Delta required a new design that more accurately reflected the natural beauty of Delta, and they needed a system implemented that would allow Delta employees to easily update the site themselves.
Our team worked in close combination with members of Delta’s staff in order to: 1) establish a design everyone was excited about, and 2) to organize content so that it could be easily incorporated once the design was in place. With frequent project updates being created and amended by both our team and Delta employees, we were able to focus on outstanding issues and find the clearest pathway to the success of the project.
The content management system was updated in order to allow all the functionality staff would need to make updates as simple as possible. Addition and deletion of pages, content and assets is straightforward by using either ElementCMS’ WYSIWYG or HTML code editor, and all content updates can be achieved through a web browser. Furthermore, a custom-built system for adding RFPs, Media Releases and Event Calendars kept the crisp site design intact while adding functionality that will be of benefit to both the staff of Delta and the website’s visitors.
