Working in partnership with the City of Victoria, Fit In Fitness is a website that acts as a focal point for all the community fitness and recreation options in the Greater Victoria area. Dedicated to promoting fitness locally, the site offers health tips and a comprehensive list of recreation centres and programs available.
The Fit In Fitness site was created in 2005 along with the logo type for the website. It was created with a heavily CSS-driven layout for ease of maintenance. This layout allows for updating that's a cinch while still maintaining a sharp, alluring design. The design itself is colourful and clean, in keeping with fresh and fun ethos that the website is promoting.
The usefulness of the posted information — recreation centres' schedules and fees - in combination with an attractive layout have resulted in site traffic being many times higher than originally anticipated. This harmony of form and function has made for a supremely popular website.
