Island Dog Sports is a Vancouver Island company that encourages people to participate in activities and sports with their dogs, both competitively and recreationally. Run by a renowned dog trainer and animal behaviourist, Island Dog Sports focuses on canine athleticism with an easy-going attitude.
Island Dog Sports approached us in 2003 seeking a new logo design and a new website. We devised a logo that captured both the fun and dynamism that the company was trying to convey to their potential clients. For the website, we took the shapes and style we had created in the logo and incorporated them into the layout for a clean, harmonious site.
They were so pleased with our work they asked us to design two associated sites, Dog Company and Dog Paddlers. For these two sites we employed the same design idea and layout, but tweaked the colours and images in order to give them each a similar yet unique design.
